Hidden Gamers Syndication has started a group in the Star Trek Online MMO called "The Chosen Few". Those of you interested in getting involved with the fleet contact ENVADER1 or ChopperDave00 on the site or post a message in the STO forum.

The game has been rated from numerous gaming organizations as 3/5 stars. If you enjoy a casual MMO with some fun action and friendly gaming then this may be one to check out.

For those of you unaware of the RTS series then here's a crash course. 2 factions 1 terrorist 1 military fighting for control of the planet's tiberium resources. A precious crystal worth a lot of dough for researching the secrets for future techs. Below is a video of the new gameplay style which has changed compared to the past RTS versions. There is no more static bases - now you have crawlers!

The CMS is now in place for all members of the community to begin submitting articles and reviews! How does this work you ask? Simple visit our Article/Reviews page and select "submit content" then select the main category to publish in. Once you select a category you will see a form page to write your article or review and have a drop box to select the proper subcategory for your article/review to be placed.

Once you have submitted your article/review it will be queued for the management to quickly review (spam prevention etc..) and publish to the site. There is no limit to how many articles you can publish which will make it all the better for those of you that enjoy writing and sending in your opinions.

As the CMS grows we may add new sub categories to handle the sorting better, or if there is a request for a category it can be made in our request forum. Also in the future as the community grows and content expands those articles with high ratings may become a front page feature for a week - that's right a full week in the spot light for your article or story. These picks will be based off the rating so make sure you allow your articles to always be rated by users.

We hope you will enjoy your stay and share with us some stories, reviews, or other thoughts whenever you'd like!

Well the launch of this site has seen a good response and is slowly growing every day. I just wanted to say that we are working on great new additions to the site to help with teams and other groups find a useful place to utilize.


Our syndication link has been added and will be adding more teams to our syndication page (details on how to link your team will be posted in the upcoming days/week so keep checking for it). We pride our team interactions and will be honoring groups that support us as a whole. Special benefits will be given which are related to some of the features being announced below.


Future Features:

- Team panel for logging match results across leagues.
-- Each team will have a special link that leaders can use to log their team's match results that will be posted to a side panel on the site. In addition there will be a section to show what teams are doing best by overall percentage and other interesting information. When this feature becomes available team leaders will have the ability to have this feature. [Limited to Syndicated Teams]

- Contact Us / Applications
-- Automated systems for users to submit data to the admin teams instead of using email. (Possible but not yet in production -> the ability for teams to have a contact listed for users to apply directly to team leaders to join a team. This may be useful in recruiting and may be added in a side project.) [Limited Syndicated Teams]

We are also taking ideas on suggestions you have for the site that will make this place a great internet hang out to visit when not kicking ass in the game(s) you all play!

Bioware's latest MMORPG planned for release in 2010.

So far what we know:

4 classes per side
- Republic: Trooper, Jedi Knight, Jedi Counslor, Smuggler
- Empire: Swith Warrior, Sith Inquister, Bounty Hunter, Imperial Agent


Release date is still being planned but from most sources the game will be released in 2010 so we have anywhere from tomorrow to December 31st... I am projecting a 2nd or 3rd quarter release.

Our ventrilo server sees many different kinds of people. As such we are bestowing user accounts inside ventrilo to gain access to extra features "guest" accounts cannot. How do I obtain this account you ask?

Simple:

- Register here on hiddengamers.com and become an active member. This can be done by bringing others to the site, posting threads, submiting new articles, voting in polls, etc. Basically helping the growth of the community.

- In your profile edit the two ventrilo fields with the ventrilo name you use and a password (both fields are visible only to the admin and the user themself). Upon creating simply send an insite PM to "ENVADER1" and the account will be added upon my next ventrilo login. So after you submit the request to have your profile updated you recieve a connection refused due to creditials simply use the information submitted here on the website instead of the normal information. It should work. Any trouble open a support ticket up in the Support Forum.

Over the course of the last few months many things have changed. The overall design of the community has gone through changes including the CMS. The previous system was working great until a few patches were applied. The CMS then became unstable and many users could no longer login due to session issues. This new CMS has proven very effective during testing over the last 2 months and has been rolled out to production. Many users from the previous system were ported over (both user, email and passwords) but many users may not have been. Please try your username/password combination to see if you account was ported. If you wish to see if it was contact ENVADER1©hiddengamers.com and I will be happy to check for you. New users will be unaffected by this database port over. (UPDATED: an email was sent out to those accounts that were ported.)

As for community updates we have a few updates:

- New CMS (what you see now)

- HGS Community will remain as a community of gamers but not a competitive organization. The community will however have "Game Clubs" which will be groups of members that play certain games. These groups will have access to a few extra sections to allow the clubs to communicate better. Each club will have a leader along side its members to help maintain it. The leader will have to be a member of the club to be a viable selection for leadership. More news will be posted soon. As always welcome to the underground!
